Gone

Poverty, in financial terms, is the inability to consistently pay for the basic needs of food, clothing, shelter, healthcare, transportation, and childcare.

a passion that is a line with
his or her own inner purpose,
can have a profound impact on family,
community and society in general."

Transformation is Needed.

One of the largest common denominators for those living in poverty is social isolation. Our economic system does not provide enough liveable wage jobs. Nor do our communities provide enough affordable health housing, and our nation does not support, adequate health insurance, causing individual problems and household challenges.

The solution is more people who are willing to commit to doing was necessary to make sure that all children have enough to eat, that all families can pay the cost for their basic needs, and have some leftover to invest for the future.

“If people are in poverty, it affects everyone and if everybody prospers, it affects everyone. We are all interconnected.

The Concept of Enough.

Our relationship to poverty is connected to our relationship with our natural environment. What is enough?  Enough is a highly

personal figure.

To achieve the goals of ending poverty and restoring our environment, desirable even for selfish reasons, it is imperative that we align our consumption patterns with what is in the best interest of all of humanity and the planet at large.
"To overspend, we have to tune out that part of our innermost selves that knows there are many in our immediate communities who don’t have enough to meet even their most basic needs for survival."

Poverty will end when enough people in our communities decide to do what it takes to end it. We can each use our unique talents and resources to start clearing away problems that stand in the way of eliminating poverty.
